I used to have pretty good skin. It got even better when I was pregnant–one of the lucky ones? I don’t know. Because after the baby was born, my skin got rough and it seemed no matter what I tried, I couldn’t get it back to its pre-baby glory. I even invested in a set of Dr. Hauschka products, all natural and organic, but my skin just sucked that stuff up like it didn’t see the price tag, and I still had a rough complexion.
Then came Alchemilla. Yay! Can I say “Yay” without sounding juvenile? I guess my commentary will have to match my new skin. I tried the Exfoliating Face Wash Cream and was shocked at how different my complexion looked right from the first try. It’s something you use a few times a week, and it takes so very little to wash with that the tube will last a good long time. The smell? Fabulous. Herbal. Fresh. After that I used a little bit of the Rose Rehydrating Essence which is a great boost for dry skin. I know what you’re thinking, “Rose? Hello Grandma!” But no, the scent is subtle and refreshing, not heavy; and it doesn’t stick to you for hours, leaving a floral trail behind you. I finished up with the Rehydrating Day Care Cream, which once again took a surprisingly small amount to do the job. My skin looked so improved by the next morning that I haven’t used anything but Alchemilla for the past week. Tiny little wrinkles I’ve fought with for years, including the new ones that come free with a two-year-old boy, are vanishing. Again, Yay! I’ve even forgone makeup lately, something that usually frightens me.
The very best part about Alchemilla has to be its purity. Everything is organic, natural, and chemical free which is a must for me. You won’t find any lurking parabens, nasty alcohols, or other icky stuff hiding in their products. Based in Oregon, this young company buys all their herbs locally and is even working on growing their own. Alchemilla was started in October of 2007, which means you get to discover it before Gwyneth Paltrow and Sarah Jessica Parker. And Oprah. Let’s not forget Oprah. I love to discover things before her. She can’t have all the great stuff first!
So you want to try it now, don’t you? Alchemilla generously provided THREE of their brand new Skin Care Trial Kits ($32.50 value) that I’ll give away here. This is what’s included in the kit:
- Antioxidant Concentrate Serum (sample sachet)

I like the idea of an organic product
I like the idea of using all natural ingrediants on my skin. That is what appeals to me about these products.
I like the Antioxident Concentrate Serum.
make my skin soft
I have never tried all natural products, but these look great.
pure organic
Organic and natural lotions are really the best. Once I learned how to make them I quickly realized they help my skin so much more than the ones you can buy with all the preservative chemicals in them at the store. Alchemilla has some great looking products. I have such trouble with dry hands in this climate that the Hand and Nail Care Cream – Lavender would be a great product to try. It’s so awful to be woken up in the middle of the night because your hands hurt from dry skin.

i like that its natural, thanks for the contest
I love new products and really like organic
I loved the idea of the Rosebay Willowherb Cream. And isn’t that the greatest name you’ve ever heard. I wanted it before i even read the description!
there is nothing better than natural!
It says it leaves a youthful glow…..I could use that. I think I lost mine somewhere between a 3 year old and a 7 month old. I found it interesting that it is one of the “most healing herbs”.
I’d probably have to choose the sweet basil aromatherapy.
Alchemilla’s products sound terrific
I love Antioxidant Concentrate Serum!
Thanks
i like that their products are natural
I would like to try the Antioxidant concentrat serum and mist. Sounds wonderful!!! Go ORGANICS!!!!!!!
I love that Alchemilla is a Pure, Natural, Organic Skin Care Range product.

The website itself is very inviting, relaxing, makes me feel good.
I like the fact that their products are organic, and that they source their ingredients locally as much as possible.
I never tried Alchemilla, but I think these products sound like something I’ve been searching for. I once used a rose water hydrating spray from another line and it was fabulous. The bad part was I could no longer find where to buy it. Winning this would a great way to see if this line matches up.
i’d like my daughter to try this
I love that the products are organic! I would love to try the Rose Rehydrating Essence!
