Badger Balm Giveaway for Your Sleepyhead

Posted by Diane under: Contest; Product Review; Sleep; Uncategorized .

Is your wee little darling having troubles drifting off to dreamland? I may have just the thing to help. The W.S. Badger Company has sent along a large 2-ounce tin of Night-Night Balm and an adorable stuffed badger for cuddling.

I’ve had a chance to try several of the Badger Balm products, and I can happily recommend them to you. No parabens, no GMO’s, no synthetic anything. You can read the ingredient label and understand all of it. And they use 70 - 100% organic ingredients. But what I think I appreciate most about the balms, in particular the Night-Night Balm, is the lack of a powerful smell. Remember when I posted about using essential oils for baby’s cough? It’s important with little ones not to overpower them with smells, even natural oils. But all of these balms have gentle scents. Nothing to knock baby’s booties off!

Believe it or not, my son is resting peacefully in the next room as I type this - his nap time has been pretty disastrous all week, but I rubbed some Night-Night Balm on him, and here I am typing in silence.

If you’d like to win a 2-ounce tin of Night-Night Balm and a stuffed badger, here’s your chance! (Psst! If you don’t win this one, I’ll be giving away two more Badger Balm products next week.)

3 Ways to Enter:

1.) Leave a comment telling me what interests you the most at Badger Balm. You can name a balm or tell me something about the company, talk about the ingredients - whatever flips your lid. Let’s entertain those badgers, shall we?

2.) Subscribers are automatically entered into this and all future giveaways. Just click here: Subscribe to dkMommy Spot by Email (Please make sure to verify your Feedburner subscription by responding to the email they send you. If you don’t receive it, check your junk mail.)

3.) Blog about this giveaway on your blog with a link back to this post.

Do all three, and you’ve got three entries to win! You have until midnight EST on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, to enter.

I’m in love with the Badger Balms. I’ve used the Tangerine Breeze lip and body balm to smooth and soften my lips and hands, prevent wind burn on my cheeks in the winter and cure dry patches on my face and arms in the summer. I’ve even used is as a wound balm on a hike! What I love most about Badger Balm is that it is truly an all purpose product. One tin in your purse or diaper bag will fix just about anything!

2 balms quickly caught my eye. Nite and headache.
nite has Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Natural Beeswax, Organic Castor Bean Oil, Organic Aloe Extract, Essential Oils of Lavender, Sandalwood, Mandarin, Spearmint, and Organic Chamomile.
While headache has Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Golden Yellow Beeswax, Essential Oils of Peppermint, Lavender, Eucalyptus, Mandarin and Sandalwood, and CO2 Extracts of Rosehip & Calendula. Contains at least 80% Certified Organic Ingredients!
Both sound like what our family needs. Sleep time without me having a headache.
Thank you for offering.
May we all sleep quietly at rest.

Happy Friday! On another site, they raved about Badger’s lip balms. I am hoping this balm works for children and adults. I tend to not sleep very well. The fact that the Badger Company gives 10% before tax profits or $10,000 to non-profit organizations that help children. the local community and promoting peace is a big plus to me! Please enter me in your delightful drawing. I really appreciate it…..Thanks, Cindi

I love how it has 100% Natural, Certified Organic ingredients. The Elegant Body Care Kit contains smaller sizes of some of the products I would be inclined to try and then buy. Thanks for the chance to win!

I’ve been a fan of Badger products for a couple of years. I keep a tin of the hand balm in my purse and one in my swim bag. Thanks for the contest.

Badger Balm’s products look fantastic! My daughter frequently has chapped lips, and I think the Night Night Balm and Baby Balm would be great for her :) Especially since their products are certified organic and 100% natural.
