The dkSummerFun Giveaway is all about having safe, earth friendly outdoor fun, and if you’re going to be taking those little ones into the great wilderness, whether it’s camping or just the backyard, you’re probably wondering how you’ll protect them from nasties like mosquitoes and sunburn in the most natural way possible. Thanks to Badger Balm, one of you will receive the solution, a $26 value, for free!
Badger Balm doesn’t just make great chapsticks and sleep balms. These guys have the most natural sunscreen I’ve come across yet. I tested it out recently during a summer art fair. My son wore the SPF 15 to protect his skin from the intense noontime sun while being carted around a hot and humid downtown. Since the sunscreen is water resistant, it didn’t sweat off and he stayed protected. I’ve tried a multitude of natural sunscreens, and some are impossibly streaky or the ingredients separate in the tube. And no matter how natural they say they are, there’s usually ingredients I cannot pronounce. Badger Balm has a smooth and even consistency, and the ingredients are all pronounceable and recognizable. (Check for sunscreen ingredients here.) Also just as natural and easy to use is the Anti-Bug Balm which comes in a push-up stick form, sort of like an overgrown chapstick tube. Both products smell great and are very effective. In fact, I’m throwing out the natural sunscreen and bug repellents I used last year and replacing them with Badger Balm. How to win your own? Read on…

I am very interested in their organic lip balms. Besides only containing natural ingredients, they come in a nice variety of scents.
My husband uses the badger healing balm, for hardworking hands!
Ooo… I love their products! I love the stress soother balm, sleep balm and lots more!
The Sleep Balm sounds so calming and relaxing.
I love the description, A dreamy night balm rich with precious oils to calm, encourage, cheer and relax poetic badgers and other restless wanderers.
Very interesting site! I bookmarked so I can return later and order something. I think the first thing I’ll get would be the night night balm for my little boy. I’d like to help him to sleep better.
I can’t believe this! You’d recommended Badger in a previous post if I remember correctly, so the other day when I went to get that stuff for Kiddo (you know what I’m talking about) I picked up a Badger Hand cream for my dry skin. And I’ve never seen anything work so fast! The Baby Balm and the Unscented Healing balm are now my to buy list.

Oh, how I wish I’d known about the Baby Balm last summer when my daughter got cradle cap! Everyone told me to treat it with baby oil, but I didn’t want to put that nasty chemical stuff on her already-sensitive scalp. She’s not technically a baby any more, but I’d still use it on her for relaxing massages and her (thankfully) rare occasions of diaper rash.
The Extra Strength Sore Muscle rub sounds wonderful.
I am most interested in the Foot Balm right now, as I’ve been on my feet for most of the day, but nearly all of their products interest me. I like how easy it is to find ingredients lists on their site.
I’d love to try the sunscreen, my son has sensitive skin and nearly everything I’ve tried on him, including Aveeno baby, breaks him out in hives.
I need the bug balm. I live in a heavily wooded rural area and need protection from lots of
flying, biting insects. HELP!
