You know what your mom always said: “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Then why are you scarfing down cold coffee and a stale bagel? Us moms need our energy to raise our brilliant little prodigies, kiss boo boos, and change the world by 5:00. Let me offer you a little help. Today we’re preparing to give away one bag of my favorite flavor, Mango Agave, from Bear Naked’s new Native Granola line. I practically inhaled this bag of granola. While you could easily eat it straight from the bag while driving the kids to school, I’m a cereal freak and ate most of it swimming in my homemade soy milk. Just like the Blueberry Walnut granola, all the fruit in the bag was fresh and moist, and the granola itself tasted fresh as well.
Mango Agave Almond has a blend of whole grain oats, agave glazed almonds and dried mangos, with hints of coconut, honey and cinnamon. But the best part may be what it doesn’t have! No preservatives, artificial flavors, trans fats, cholesterol, hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup. This is a perfect morning granola – very energy giving, thanks to the almonds and fruit. Heck, you may just change the world by 3:00.
Want to try a bag? Bear Naked has one for a lucky dkMommy Spot reader!

I eat something quick every morning like instant oatmeal, raisin bread, yogurt, cereal, juice, etc. I need to make sure I have enough protein for breakfast so I’ll have energy all day.
Multi-grain cheerios with skim milk, a bowl of strawberries, and coffee. If I’m feeling really rowdy, we go to the local coffee house and have their blueberry pancakes and bacon. Hmmmmm, which one is healthier?
Depends. After I go to the gym, I come home, and if there is leftover chicken in the fridge, I’ll have some. In the winter I’ll have oatmeal.
I work in a School and in the morning, I get the breakfast they have for Pre-Schoolers. LOL Soooo, it’s um….TRIX!!! LOL Seriously. Yeah, we have that several times a week…..

Well, if I’m eating responsibly, I’ll go for Total cereal, or yogurt, or oatmeal. All with coffee. But honestly, I often end up finishing whatever the kids leave behind: half a Pop Tart, Cheerio dregs, toast crusts…
Always tea, and either yogurt with granola mixed in, or cinnamon toast, or regular toast with preserves. Rarely on the weekend I’ll have eggs and bacon. So I figure I’m mostly eating responsibly.
I usuall eat Cherrios or Raisin Brand cereal and a coffee. I need to improve my fruit intake.
I would love to try Mango Agave Almond Native Granola. Sounds ummt.
I usually have oatmeal, juice and coffee
cheese toast and fruit.
USUALY DON’T WHEN I DO IT IS A POP TART OR TOAST
I usually do not eat breakfast but one day a weekend I cook a big breakfast for the girls – eggs, bacon, toast, the works. Tomorrow we may make pancakes
I usually eat granola with vanilla yogurt…or I just go with coffee.

I usually have Special K. On Sundays I cook a big breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy. Thanks for the giveaway!
I eat oatmeal with a with granola on top. Also toast and fruit. I never miss breakfast, my favorite meal of the day.
I usually eat a bowl of cereal
I usually have cereal in the summer and oatmeal in the winter, always with a cup of tea.
I usually eat a bowl of plain yogurt mixed with rolled oats, nuts or seeds (I try to vary the type), and fruit. Sometimes I’ll have a different kind of fruit on the side, or a cup of tea.
I think this is a fairly nutritious breakfast and I like it, but sometimes I’d like to have more variety. I’d also like to have a hot breakfast more often, but I don’t usually have time except on Sundays.
Cereal but I sure like granola
Organic oatmeal though I am wanting to go to steel cut.
Thanks. alison523 at gmail dot com
I normally have a cinnamon raisin bagel or a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Pretty boring really . I’d like to jazz it up a bit.Maybe some granola, hmmmmm?
Quick and easy – yogurt with Bear Naked Granola of course.
I sometimes have a protein bar for breakfast, when I am in a hurry. When I have more time I have some yogurt with fruit and granola.
Sometimes cheerios and sometimes toast with jam.
I have the pro-plus (protein enriched) special K cereal, usually with fruit (banana, blueberries, strawberries, etc) on it and fat-free milk. We eat that, as we’re veggies, and look for ways to increase our daily protein. What I’d like to improve about my breakfast… I wish it also had more bran in it.
I usually eat oatmeal (maple/brown sugar)…I really need to add some fruit to my breakfast to spice things up!
Breakfast depends on my mood. Sometimes, I am good: granola, juice, fruit. Sometimes I am a naughty girl: grits, eggs, bacon, cheese, oj, coffee, doughnuts. It just depends on my mood.
I usually have a bowl of fruit with yogurt, sometimes oatmeal or toast and if I’m in a hurry I’ll usually grab a granola bar
I don’t even normally eat breakfast. I find no appeal in eating some dried up flakes or balls of nothing. Gross. I will eat if I make eggs, pancakes or french toast.
I generally eat nothing but when I do it is healthy, Kashi, blueberries and soymilk.
I usually skip breakfast! There are rare instances when I do, and usually, it’s just a quick sandwich.
rasperry
I usually eat either oatmeal (the low sugar instant packets) or toast (often the ends of our loaves). I know I should add soymilk and fruit to my breakfast, but I’m just too lazy!

i eat 2-3 pieces of fruit, or a green smoothie jam-packed with spinach and a few scoops of hemp protein powder
I mix my Kashi cereal into my plain yogurt
Thank you for having this! I am bad. I dont eat breakfast. I know. I am trying to be more healthy but it seems by the time I get the kids up and out the door and start laundry and get the dishes done and start cleaning its lunchtime. So I usually dont get breakfast but I would love to start changing my habits. Thank you!

I love granola, but for breakfast I usually only leave myself time for a glass of orange juice and a banana. I could do a lot worse, but it isn’t very satisfying.
I eat organic oatmeal, toast with cinnamon and some sort of fruit. I have a cup of coffee. I would like to get more protein in me in the morning.
I usually eat oatmeal or and english muffin!
I usually have cereal or a green shake
Whole grain cereal
I have cereal most mornings.
cereal
A typical breakfast for me is granola bars, yogurt, and enhanced water.
I normally eat instant oatmeal. Warm, toasty and fills me up.
I eat almost the same thing every day….”boring”…. Fat-Free Stonyfield Farms French Vanilla yogurt with Bear Naked Granola. Only Vanilla, Chocolate, or Chocolate Peanut Butter granola, and only Stonyfield because it’s the only one without some sort of corn product or fruit that I can find, because I am allergic to ingredients in others (including fructose – fruit sugar, so all fruit is out and corn).
Last night’s leftover dinner. (You’re right, I’m pitiful)
I usually eat a bowl of cereal with half a sliced banana in it.
bookloggeds last blog post..The Map Thief
Oatmeal or two eggs on toast
My breakfast is usually a cup of coffee (preferably from Tim Horton’s!) and a non-menthol cigarette.
