You know what your mom always said: “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Then why are you scarfing down cold coffee and a stale bagel? Us moms need our energy to raise our brilliant little prodigies, kiss boo boos, and change the world by 5:00. Let me offer you a little help. Today we’re preparing to give away one bag of my favorite flavor, Mango Agave, from Bear Naked’s new Native Granola line. I practically inhaled this bag of granola. While you could easily eat it straight from the bag while driving the kids to school, I’m a cereal freak and ate most of it swimming in my homemade soy milk. Just like the Blueberry Walnut granola, all the fruit in the bag was fresh and moist, and the granola itself tasted fresh as well.
Mango Agave Almond has a blend of whole grain oats, agave glazed almonds and dried mangos, with hints of coconut, honey and cinnamon. But the best part may be what it doesn’t have! No preservatives, artificial flavors, trans fats, cholesterol, hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup. This is a perfect morning granola – very energy giving, thanks to the almonds and fruit. Heck, you may just change the world by 3:00.
Want to try a bag? Bear Naked has one for a lucky dkMommy Spot reader!

I usually have a banana and coffee and then later a piece of toast.
Coffee- lots and lots of coffee. When I eat (less often than when I skip food) it is either bagel and cream cheese, whole wheat toast w/peanut butter and grapefruit or Special K with some frozen berries.
I’d love to have something quick and all in one that I actually want to eat… when I skip breakfast I forget to eat until late afternoon when I start getting that hunger headache.

A glass of Water
I don’t eat breakfast at all. A quick cup of coffee before dashing out the door is about all I have time for. This granola sounds healthy and portable – I could eat it while I commute to work. Now THAT would be a benefit!!
I usually have coffee and toast. I need something more nutritious.
oatmeal with a banana and a little cinnamon and maple syrup mixed in, and orange juice to drink
bagel or toast and a banana.
I like to eat a NutriGrain Blueberry Eggo Waffle with fresh blueberries, walnuts, and organic syrup.
I usually eat Honey Nut Cheerios. Thanks for the contest.
What I usually eat for breakfast is whatever if left over from my kids’ breakfast that they didn’t finish (i.e. soggy cereal, crusts off of a PBJ, a cold, half-eaten waffle). What I would like to eat for breakfast is anything that is planned and that I can sit down to eat. I don’t know how I am supposed to teach my children to honor their bodies and their health, if I am not willing to do the same for myself.

I make scrambled eggs w/mozzarella cheese, toast w/jelly & yogurt. Its my 2.5 yr olds favorite breakfast. Its a pleasant change from just cereal (which is what I used to eat when I was pregnant). To change it up, every so often I make a smoothie from banana, frozen fruit and yogurt. Thanks for the chance to win, I love granola and kind of forgot all about it!!!
