Broderbund PrintShop 23 Giveaway!

I have a very exciting and different sort of giveaway today.  That’s because a lot of us are stay-at-home parents, work-at-home parents, or entrepreneurial sorts.  We’re always starting something new, whether it’s a business, a kid’s project, or yet another blog.  So when I had the opportunity to test the Broderbund PrintShop 23, I thought, “It’s very different for dkMommy Spot yet it’s so perfect!”

The PrintShop 23 can help you do everything from designing your own greeting cards to starting your new business.  I’ve been trying the Pro Publisher Deluxe, which has been a whiz at designing dkMommy Spot business cards and other dkMommy projects I keep putting off.  But the PrintShop is very easy to use with premade templates you can tweak and alter to your heart’s desire.  And the best part for me is, I don’t have to go get 500 business cards printed at an exorbitant price, then wonder how I’m going to get rid of them all.  I can print as I go.  Saves money, saves paper, saves a lot of headaches for me.

There are three versions of PrintShop:  The Standard ($29.99), Deluxe ($49.99) and the Pro Publisher Deluxe ($99.99).  All three contain hundreds of thousands of images and graphics, hundreds of fonts, project templates, a photo workshop with editing, and lots more fun stuff.  I spent a large chunk of my weekend playing with the program and found it endlessly enjoyable.  Tutorials can be read as a PDF, printed, or watched as video.  The layout is simple, the tools are self-explanatory, and the end results are very professional.  Overall, no matter what you’re looking to print and design yourself, you’ll find PrintShop will be a great timesaver and a whole lot of fun.

Want to see for yourself?  I have one Standard version of PrintShop ($29.99) and one Deluxe version ($49.99) to give away to two randomly chosen winners just in time for preparing your own Christmas cards.  Or get that business off the ground you keep putting off because it all seemed too complicated.  Or surprise your boss with a great PDF document, or design your own family newsletters or stationary or slideshows or postcards or…

3 Ways to Enter:

1.) Just visit Broderbund’s PrintShop page and tell me something about the product that would really help you with your special projects. Have fun with your comment! If I can’t contact the randomly drawn winner, I choose according to comments.

2.) Email subscribers are entered into this and all future giveaways, for as long as their subscription is active. (No need to leave a comment to let me know you’re subscribed–once you’re in, I hold your email address near and dear!) Just click here: Subscribe to dkMommy Spot by Email (Please make sure to verify your Feedburner subscription by responding to the email they send you. If you do not receive it, check your junk mail. Only verified subscriptions are entered for all the giveaways.)

3.) Blog about this giveaway on your blog with a link back to this post. Come back and leave me a Comment with a link to your blog post. (If your comment doesn’t show up right away, don’t worry – I may have to approve it first. My blog might think it’s spam but gosh darn, I certainly don’t!)

Feel free to do all three, and you have three entries to win! You have until midnight EST on Friday, October 17, 2008, to enter.

This is too exciting! I have NEVER used Print Shop and couldn’t believe my eyes when I read all that you can do with it! The first thing I would do is head to the graphics! It will probably take forever to get through all that is offered but I’m up to it.

Then I would print up some stationery and business cards for my friend! The sky’s the limit with all that can be done. This is just the neatest thing. Then I would print some unique envelopes and letterheads for myself.
Then I would print up some “No Salespeople” signs for my door. Then I would print up some address labels. Then I would print up some
greeting cards. Then some banners. Then….

  • I would love for my children and I to make great personalized cards and stationary for family & friends.

Subscriber. Checked out the site. I am a fontaholic. That’s enough for me. All those graphics look cool, too. Problem is, I may not ever get out of my computer chair. Hubby won’t like that! I already spend too much time here in front of this little box.

    Thanks for having the giveaway!

  • It looks like the Broderbund® Premier Project Collection I would fit my needs.

  • I have an ancient version of Print Master which is also by Broderbund and I would LOVE to get into the new century (ha ha) with an updated version so that I can print out my Christmas cards, labels, candy wrappers and more.

  • I’d love to be able to make my own business cards or greeting cards!

  • LisaW

I’ve never used Print Shop before, but I’d love to try it. I enjoy making my own greeting cards, but I’ve never done it on a computer. Also, since I’d like to start doing some wedding photography again–something I haven’t had time for since my third son was born–I’ve been thinking about making some business cards, but I didn’t know how I’d do my own. Perhaps this is the answer! I’d love to try it. Thanks for the chance!

  • Peter

Well, we’d probably use it for signs, posters, banners, greeting cards, and business cards. It’s kind of hard to limit it down. We have an older version of the product and it’s one of the most heavily used pieces of software that we own. Only drawback I’ve found is there were some pre-made borders in a very early release that don’t seem to be in later versions, but a lot of the newer features more than make up for that (at least to me – my wife differs a little).

Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  • Clifton Wade

I do cards for two different churches and I try to use some individuality in each card – but after awhile its hard to keep up with who got what card and what sentiment.
Thanks for this great contest and prize!

  • Harriet

The Print Shop 23 Deluxe would really be great with cards for all seasons.

  • Dee

It would help me make cards!

  • The Deluxe software includes templates that would help us to thank you cards and adoption announcement cards for our upcoming adoption of a little boy from Russia :)

I would love to have a good program like this for business cards, stationery, cards, newsletters, etc. It looks great! Thank you for the chance!

  • Susan

I use the Broderbund Printmaster 17 now, but would love to win and use the newer version! I use it FOR EVERYTHING. I am the newsletter lady for our homeschool co op and I use it for that…my kids use it for cards, banners, papers, etc.! We make ALL our own cards for every birthday we attend. My whole family knows to expect our ANNUAL CHRISTMAS card or newsletter and they look forward to all the clipart and pictures I put in it. This would be a great gift to win and I thank you for the chance! :)

  • im forever trying to be creative and crafty and feel like im constatnly searching the internet for good clipart or images to use… this would be great!

We own a small cafe and I could see lots of uses for this. We could stop spendng so much at the printer we’ve been using.

  • Tammy Jean

I really new ideas for presentation of my photos

  • We have a carpet and vinyl installation business-we could design and make our own business cards! I love the Calender Creator-it would be so much fun to make our own Christmas calendars.

Susan Cs last blog post..Vacation update!

  • Elizabeth M.

I like the one-click fixes that it offers for such things as red-eye or blemishes.

  • Tonya Froemel

I love that there are over 21,000 QuickStart templates to choose from. I love templates because I am so lazy and impatient that I just want to get right to the good part with as little work as possible!

  • Angie P.

In the most-expensive version, the Content Library (consisting of over 420,000 premium graphics, more than 23,000 professionally-designed templates and over 850 fonts) is a huge draw for my family. We love to design our own cards, flyers, business cards, etc., and it seems that with so many choices we could really make them unique.
