“Clear the Air” – Natural Pet Odor Eliminator Giveaway

Today guest blogger Jane Marie of Thyme for Herbs and An Herbal Bedfellow brings us this review of the “Clear the Air” natural Pet Odor Eliminator.

I got a new puppy in November; a darling little Shih Tzu. If you live in an area that gets snow in the winter, you might want to consider waiting to get a puppy until spring. Housebreaking is not fun in 10 degree temperatures and 6 inches of snow. Well, it’s too late for me; I’m in love.

Housebreaking has been going okay with lots of hard work. It requires putting boots, coat and gloves on every hour, and then trudging outside. In the beginning even going out that often didn’t matter; the little guy just couldn’t get the point, or maybe he just couldn’t hold it yet. We don’t have any more accidents with the puddles now, but the “other” is another story. I guess that will come with time.

Needless to say, the chance to try out Clear the Air Pet Odor Eliminator was perfectly timed. We’ve gone through lots of paper towels and carpet cleaners, but I began to notice that odor — and, oh, did I mention our house is for sale? That smell is not good when trying to attract a potential buyer.

We sprinkled the carpet with Pet Odor Eliminator and vacuumed it up before an open house, and immediately we noticed the difference. It was a little difficult to vacuum up ( that could be our vacuum cleaner’s problem) but the air was fresh with no sign of odor! Next came the real test — a sniff after coming in from the fresh outdoors. Would the puppy smell still be there? Not at all! Gone!

Here's Teddy. He's cute, but he does make a mess on occasion.

We tried one thing that was not mentioned on the side of the can. My husband added some Pet Odor Eliminator to the vacuum filter. Again this product lived up to its name -the air was cleaned as it passed through the filter, leaving behind a freshness without an annoying fragrance cover-up.

Clear the Air is good for urine, feces, smoke , mildew and doggie odors. It’s safe to use on most surfaces; such as, leather, wood, carpets, rugs, tile, linoleum, pet bedding, and auto and boat upholstery. It’s all natural, made from a blend of the best minerals, AND it’s guaranteed to be child and pet safe. I think I’ve found something my puppy and I can live with! Oops, someone has to go out again!

Update:  You’ll be happy to know that Jane Marie now  says Teddy is fully house trained.  The carpet is happy and so is Jane Marie.

  1. I learned that you can dispose of Clear The Air by simply adding to your soil since it is an excellent nitrogen soil amendment.

  3. I like that you sprinkle it on the carpet and leave overnight and vacuum up to odors being gone. That to me sounds AMAZING!!! I alraedy ordered some!!!

  4. I learned that they make a bag that you can hang up in a room to remove dead animal odor. I have never heard of such a thing. Fortunately I have no need for that product right now, but I think it’s interesting to know that it’s out there.

  5. I learned that as Clear The Air is made from a blend of all natural minerals, it can even be safely ingested! (Not that one would want to, but it’s great to know that the product is that safe!)

  6. My cats are older and sometimes have accidents. I would love to try the Earth Care’s Clear the Air for Cat Urine Odors, Thanks.

  7. Earthcare can draw out the odors in your car! My cars in the past have suffered some nasty smells! Just place it in your car and ventilate and smells are drawn out!

  8. I found that they have a product for cat odors, we have 5 adopted rescue kitties and there have been some problems that could really use this product

  9. I also like how you can put on carpet trouble areas and leave on overnight and vacuume the next day

  10. I learned that it does not have to come in contact with the odor producer, instead it pulls odors from the room.

  11. Clear the Air does not have to come into contact with the odor producer; it will pull the odors from the carpet pad, and sub-floor. Clear The Air draws in odors like a powerful magnet. The odors are adsorbed, and neutralized without any fragrances. Clear The Air does not cover up odors; it literally “clears the air” leaving the air fresh and clean. Clear The Air is made from an all natural mineral, is non toxic and biodegradable and safe for Planet Earth.

  12. I learned that the Clear The Air Cat & Dog Urine Odor Eliminator works well on all surfaces pulling the odors out of tile and concrete, as well as carpet. When we first moved into our house, I had two very old cats who had bladder control issues. Well, and the one had kitty Alzheimer’s and would get confused about where the litter box was. This product would have been very useful then.

  14. I learned that Clear the Air draws in odors and then eliminates them instead of covering it up.

  15. This product is really a must especially for pet lovers. Hope it really works. If it does, it’ll be surely a hit. This is great.
