EatSmart Precision Pro - Avocado Not Included

Whether you’re a baking whiz or an herb enthusiast like myself, you’ll understand the importance of having a good kitchen scale at your side.  Weighing out ingredients, measuring herbal amounts for a tincture, even checking on proper postage is all made a lot easier with the right scale.  I’d been looking around at scales for quite sometime, but the EatSmart Precision Procaught my eye for a few reasons.  For one thing, it’s lightweight and doesn’t take up precious kitchen space.  For another, it’s simple to use.  Just a few necessary buttons, no over-the-top bells and whistles I’d never use.  And most importantly, the price is right.  At only $25 on Amazon ($44.95 suggested retail), it’s a completely affordable solution.

I’ve been using my EatSmart Precision Promostly for herb purposes.  After I’ve been out wildcrafting and have brought back a nice bundle of motherwort or perhaps some yarrow, I want to make sure my calculations are accurate before I prepare a tincture.  I can put a bowl on this scale, zero it out, and get an accurate digital reading.  Since the scale can handle up to 11 pounds, I don’t have to get too concerned about what bowl I choose either.  Pretty important stuff when you’re talking about weighing heavier stuff like roots (or baking ingredients like sugar and flour).

Overall the scale has been just the right solution for my needs.  I’m happy that it’s so easy to use, and that I don’t have to commit a chunk of counter space to it. When I’m done I just set it up on a shelf until next time.  A must-have for herbalist and cook alike!

  1. I love the idea of the digital scale. We have a bulky one that has a ‘bowl’ area and it is a little messy.

  6. The display on this scale is bigger and easier to read than the one on my old scale (may it rest in peace!) Thanks again for the offer, Diane. ?:o)

  7. I would love to have this scale as it weighs things accurately and there would be no worries for portion control in that respect. Instead of saying a piece of meat no bigger than the palm of your hand, well that could now be weighed.. no guessing.

  8. I like the tare feature that lets you eliminate the weight of the plate or bowl, and I love that it weighs in small increments of .05 oz. I’d like to have this because I think I have fatty liver disease (they’re running tests) and I’m going to need to seriously start working to lose weight.

  9. I have always wanted a kitchen scale. It would be great when splitting up packages of hamburger so I could have evenly sized packages.

  10. I like that it actually comes with the batteries — that means as soon as you get it you can use it!!! Thanks for the great giveaway:)

  11. I am sure it is a great product over 200 people have rated it and the average score is 5 Stars!!! Thanks for the chance to win such a great product:)
