As soon as the reports started surfacing that many lipsticks, including pricey department store brands, contained lead, I started shopping around for something all-natural. Not as easy as it sounds, but I have found a brand that I’m quite happy with. Ecco Bella FlowerColor Lipstick is not only natural, it produces beautiful results that last.

I appreciate that Ecco Bella is forthcoming with their ingredients. Within their website, they provide ingredient lists for all their cosmetics. For me this is imperative. I will not, do not ever purchase a product that goes on, in, or even near my body without knowing what’s in it. That means if I can’t find an ingredient list on a cosmetic – one I can read and understand – I simply won’t buy it.

But do Ecco Bella’s FlowerColor Lipsticks work? Yes! These are long wearing lipsticks in a variety of colors. I have been using Cafe Au Lait for a few months now and I’m pleased with how long it stays in place, even after drinking from my ever-present traveling mug of green tea. While the FlowerColors wear dryer, I haven’t had a problem adding a lip balm over the top; this hasn’t deterred from the length of wear either. Combine that will a natural list of safe ingredients and you have a cosmetic that is beautiful from any angle!
