Today is all about natural clean at dkMommy Spot.  I just love discovering new chemical-free solutions to a clean home, so when Ecostore from New Zealand wanted to share their products with dkMommy readers I “naturally” agreed.  Anytime something eco-friendly comes out of New Zealand, I take notice.  Maybe it’s all that natural beauty, but there’s something about the country that takes living chemical-free to an all-new level.

Ecostore has just opened their US branch, so now we can enjoy their products stateside as well.  I’ve been trying out the Laundry Liquid, Pure Oxygen Whitener, and Manuka Honey & Kelp Soap.  The Laundry Liquid has a wonderful aroma from the organic essential oils inside, and it’s great for people with sensitive skin.  It uses very little in the wash (just a couple of tablespoons) so one bottle lasts a long time.  I’ve been adding the Pure Oxygen Whitener to my wash as well, and I have to say it performs better than OxiClean, which I’ve used for a long time even though I’m not exactly sure what’s in there.  (Don’t tell – I goof too.)  OxiClean has always been harsh on my hands, but the Pure Oxygen Whitener did no skin damage, and there’s no funny bleachy odor.  Used directly on my son’s blueberry stained clothing, it returned his clothing to a stain-free state which made me one very happy mom.  A bar of Ecostore’s Manuka Honey & Kelp Soap was just the cherry on the top for the testing process.  It smells and works fantastic, and of course it’s all natural.

Things are sure cleaning up around here!  Want to try Ecostore’s products for yourself?  They’re giving away a set to one of you which will include one full-sized item of each: Pure Laundry Liquid, Pure Oxygen Whitener, and Manuka Honey & Kelp Soap.

  1. I learned that NO NASTY CHEMICALS is the foundation for their entire product line. Great philosophy!

  2. My son has been highly sensitive to certain store brands of soaps. I’m not sure what kinds of things they put in there, but his hands will become dry, cracked and scaly when we use certain soaps and we have to have special soaps for him to wash his hands with if we go to visit people. I love that Ecostore USA sells products that have actually helped improve people’s eczema symptoms, etc. I would like to try the coconut bar soap or some of the others for him…and the rest of the family too, of course!
