Another important aspect in fertilizing your plants/soil is mulching. Mulch will break down thus give nutrients to your beloved organic Blueberry Plants. Ideally, you should mulch your plants at least 3,5 inches thick. The mulch have to be porous and coarse so that water can dribble through it easily. That’s why, you need to chop or shred the leaves of your blueberries, as they can repel water to enter the growing area. The aerated compost tea adds microbes which will decompose the mulch providing nutrients to your blueberries. Also, you can add nitrogen to the mulch for the similar effect.
