Unless you have really mastered the methods, it’s quite difficult to successfully breed stevia from seed. The plants would grow for sure, but the levels of sweetness in the plants’ leaves could be inconsistent. There’s also the risk to get low rate of germination. That means from the whole package of seeds, not all of them can sprout. That’s why we recommend you to use starter plants which have been germinated and have reached an ideal size. The starter plants can be grown from mature Stevia Plant cuttings; you can get them at your local specialty nurseries.
