Whenever I’m asked what herbs a parent should always keep in the house, there’s one thing that always hits the top of my list: Super Echinacea Extract. This extract, which I’ve been using in my home since shortly before the birth of my son, is from Herb Pharm. Why won’t I go without it? Because it has saved this family from many cold and flu viruses and aided us in fighting allergies and hayfever. It’s successfully boosted our immune systems and stopped illness so quickly and efficiently that it’s the first thing I grab.
Initially, I always bought their Echinacea Root Extract which comes in alcohol free. It’s easy to get my son to take because it’s sweet, so I could just put some in his water and he thought he had a real treat! While the Super Echinacea doesn’t come alcohol free (they offer it in liquid or pill form), I haven’t had any problems sneaking this in my son’s orange juice. It takes so very little for him that I’m not concerned about the alcohol content; no sleepyhead effect.

I’ve never tried any herbal remedies before but would really like to. This past winter I was really sick and I wish I had some of the Herb Pharm products. I think they really would have been able to help me out. I am especially interested in the Immune Defense Tonic and the Propolis Echinacea Throat Spray.
