It has done a great job and I use it to clean everything now. The red bottle of carpet cleaner smell lasts for days and I nearly choked to death (not really but close enough). Here's the recipe: (soapsgonebuy.com sells the products and has recipes too) 1 c. borax 1 c. washing soda 1 bar fels naphta soap (grated) melt soap in lg. pt w/ water over low heat until liquid. Add borax and soda, stir until dissolved. Pour into a 5 gallon bucket, add enough hot water to come to top. Stir every few hours, it will 'gel', that's normal. use 1/8 to 1/4 c. per load, I even use it in my he washer.
