In 1978, Horst founded Aveda Corporation, a global plant-based cosmetic company then he sold to Estee Lauder. Not quite sure how Estee Lauder is staying true to his natural, organic roots but uh, ok. Maybe it is just me that selling to a big momma like EL makes my question the Aveda line.
