I had no clue that make up was not something really regulated
I like how their products are free from bismuth oxychloride and other such nasties. (Carmine! Ick!) I have been using mineral makeup for awhile now, but they are not all created equal. I just might buy the sample set and come back for another entry! (I’m already a subscriber too)

Campaign for Safe Cosmetics found that lipsticks from top brands contain lead – 2/3 of the 33 tested. Ah!!!

I found out that I have been putting my makeup on incorrectly – I put my bronzer on last which is wrong!
I have never tried Mineral makeup but have heard great things about it. The Balance Acne-Fighting Kit sounds perfect because it doesn’t have a lot of chemicals and seems like it could help my skin (which sometimes seems to think that I’m a teenager again). Thanks for the giveaway!

My mom and I bought some mineral makeup not too long ago, and both had an allergic reaction, much to our dismay! I love that the JASCO makeup is free of the chemicals and ingredients that cause most allergic reactions and gives me hope I might be able to try mineral makeup again! Thanks!

Okay, duh! Why didn’t I think of this! This tip from JASCO is the best mineral makeup tip I’ve ever read, “If you don’t like the feel of powder foundation, have very dry skin or notice powder foundation accumulating in small wrinkles, try mixing a small amount of powder with a small amount of your favorite moisturizer and apply like liquid foundation. Apply finishing powder for a matte look.” Excellent! Now I can have a liquid foundation with as much or as little pigment as I want and I can have only healthy, safe ingredients… Hey! How about making a paste to use as concealer! Dude, best tip ever award goes to JASCO!!! I’m so excited, really! Now that I know that tip and a mineral makeup without bismuth, I think I’ll buy some and try it!!! Thanks dkMommy!!!

I have not tried mineral makeup before and with all the very positive buzz about it I am dying to! After visiting Jasco Organics and browsing through their products my picks are the JASCO Organics ‘Natural Complexion’ Foundation. I am constantly trying to achieve that even skin tone look and this sounds like it may do the trick! The Desert Rose JASCO Organics ‘Fresh Look’ Blush looked like a pretty color that I would wear. The Teal color JASCO Organics ‘Fresh Look’ Eye Shadow would finish the look off for me! I learned today that their products contain so many natural items and I was blown away by the list which includes some of my favorites such as Aloe Vera and Vitamins A, B5, C & E! The list is truly amazing and I would love to try these fabulous products!

I still haven’t tried mineral makeup, but I found the ingredient benefits very interesting, especially the willow bark, helps inflammation, I would definately like to try the makeup, it’s very natural looking as well as healthier than the regular cosmetics from department stores.
