KABOOST Portable Chair Booster Giveaway

Have I told you I’m a work-at-home mom? I am. Every morning, I fire up the computer and work the same job at home that I used to do from an office, before a baby changed everything. Now that my baby is two years old, he’s not so content sitting in a bassinet wiggling his fingers while I type. Not anymore. Now he wants to be right up by me, sitting at the table with his crayons and books. But up until recently, he just couldn’t reach. No matter how hard I tried to dissuade him, he climbed up on the chair and sat with his chin resting on the table, waiting for Mommy to give him a task. Until I got a KABOOST, that is.

KABOOST sent me a most ingenious invention of theirs. It goes under the chair, not on top. This makes me one happy mom, since I got some beautiful solid wood chairs over the holidays, and I really didn’t want to scratch them up with a clunky contraption. Even better, I can take that KABOOST with me everywhere I go because it’s spring loaded, folds up really fast, and fits any type of chair. Now my son doesn’t even need the high chair at Grandma’s house. He can look everyone square in the eyeball while he’s throwing his peas across the table. (Much better aim that way.) And it’s sturdy too. One evening, I turned to place dinner on the table and found my husband was a good 6 inches taller than usual. He sat the whole dinner through on the KABOOST much to the chagrin of everyone present. Held him nicely, thank you. (Although it holds up to 300 pounds, I wouldn’t recommend this as a good everyday use for the seat; but hey, we’re running important tests here.)

So you want your own KABOOST now, do you? I thought you’d say that. And so did the KABOOST people, because they’ll send one to one of you, ($37.95 retail) if you’re the lucky winner!  All you have to do is follow the rules below, and your kid could be sitting pretty very soon.

3 Ways to Enter:

1.) Leave a comment after visiting the KABOOST site. Tell me something you like about the KABOOST, and why it will work for you. (Winners are chosen at random, but if the first winner selected does not claim the prize, the second winner is chosen based on comment originality. So have fun with your comment!)

2.) Subscribers are automatically entered into this and all future giveaways. Just click here: Subscribe to dkMommy Spot by Email (Please make sure to verify your Feedburner subscription by responding to the email they send you. If you don’t receive it, check your junk mail. the Kaboost product is a great invention! Using one of these with my existing chairs, I wouldn’t need to have a high chair. The little ones feel more comfortable eating at the big table with everyone else too! And keeping one in the car would be great too, how many times have you been to a restaurant and all those booster seats or high chairs are taken? Or broken? Or just plain YUCK? I can tell you its happened to me more than once! great idea for a product, very useful!

I love that it move with the chair and looks to be easy to use. My daughter is at that in between stage - too big for the high chair but not quite big enough for a real chair and this would help a lot.

KABOOST is wonderful. I remember being boosted up by telephone books as a child when I went visiting. I don’t want to embarrass my grandson in the same way. And it stores away easily when it isn’t being used at grandma’s house.

  25. 25
    Reiza:

I love that it’s so compact. Space is a premium for us, so I like that it’s small itself, plus it allows us to use what we already have without having to clutter up the dining room with an extra high chair that takes up way too much room and is then completely useless when the child gets bigger.

oh my gosh! that is a super cool idea!! portable and easy to use. i love that i don’t have to worry about having a booster or high chair at grandma’s house or my house either! i just pack the kaboost in it’s own little bag and take it with me to use with her chairs or at a restaurant. it’s gonna be great that my kid won’t be able to tip the chair even if he tries. very stable! adjustable height by flipping it over - it will grow with my son. lightweight, convenient - what more could a mother ask for. i have enough big and bulky stuff already to haul and this will be very, very nice and something that i will get “alot” of use out of! i “luv” the green one. super great invention!!

My favorite thing about Kaboost is that it would allow my child a feeling of independence since he is sitting on an actual chair, just like everyone else. And because the chair is raised up, he’d also be on a more equal playing field, rather than so much lower than everyone else. I like that it is so small. You are not dragging some huge crazy contraption everywhere

I really like to entertain, but sometimes we have guests over, who have young children, and we do not have seating that is suitable for them, aside from our tall counter stools that have no backs. I would love to have a Kaboost on hand, since it is small enough to store easily away, unlike trying to keep a high chair around, and is easy to use. We have any number of dining chairs, just not ones that are high enough to make young children feel like part of the group.
