KABOOST Portable Chair Booster Giveaway
Have I told you I’m a work-at-home mom? I am. Every morning, I fire up the computer and work the same job at home that I used to do from an office, before a baby changed everything. Now that my baby is two years old, he’s not so content sitting in a bassinet wiggling his fingers while I type. Not anymore. Now he wants to be right up by me, sitting at the table with his crayons and books. But up until recently, he just couldn’t reach. No matter how hard I tried to dissuade him, he climbed up on the chair and sat with his chin resting on the table, waiting for Mommy to give him a task. Until I got a KABOOST, that is.
KABOOST sent me a most ingenious invention of theirs. It goes under the chair, not on top. This makes me one happy mom, since I got some beautiful solid wood chairs over the holidays, and I really didn’t want to scratch them up with a clunky contraption. Even better, I can take that KABOOST with me everywhere I go because it’s spring loaded, folds up really fast, and fits any type of chair. Now my son doesn’t even need the high chair at Grandma’s house. He can look everyone square in the eyeball while he’s throwing his peas across the table. (Much better aim that way.) And it’s sturdy too. One evening, I turned to place dinner on the table and found my husband was a good 6 inches taller than usual. He sat the whole dinner through on the KABOOST much to the chagrin of everyone present. Held him nicely, thank you. (Although it holds up to 300 pounds, I wouldn’t recommend this as a good everyday use for the seat; but hey, we’re running important tests here.)
So you want your own KABOOST now, do you? I thought you’d say that. And so did the KABOOST people, because they’ll send one to one of you, ($37.95 retail) if you’re the lucky winner! All you have to do is follow the rules below, and your kid could be sitting pretty very soon.
3 Ways to Enter:
1.) Leave a comment after visiting the KABOOST site. Tell me something you like about the KABOOST, and why it will work for you. (Winners are chosen at random, but if the first winner selected does not claim the prize, the second winner is chosen based on comment originality. So have fun with your comment!)

the Kaboost product is a great invention! Using one of these with my existing chairs, I wouldn’t need to have a high chair. The little ones feel more comfortable eating at the big table with everyone else too! And keeping one in the car would be great too, how many times have you been to a restaurant and all those booster seats or high chairs are taken? Or broken? Or just plain YUCK? I can tell you its happened to me more than once! great idea for a product, very useful!

I love that it move with the chair and looks to be easy to use. My daughter is at that in between stage - too big for the high chair but not quite big enough for a real chair and this would help a lot.
July 2nd, 2008 at 2:29 pm
KABOOST is wonderful. I remember being boosted up by telephone books as a child when I went visiting. I don’t want to embarrass my grandson in the same way. And it stores away easily when it isn’t being used at grandma’s house.

It would work for me ,because as a grandmother of 4 under the age of 3 an another one on the way,I can keep it with me where ever I go an in the house,I dont have any baby equipment, they came so fast, hey they were suppose to spread them out over a long period of time so I could just wallow in my grandmotherhood,oh im joking,im having a blast,im nuts but having a blast, they are soooooooooo soft an sweet,an I just love be a Mamaw,an rocking an singin to my babies,so yeah,I could use this,I want them all here at the same time,I dont want any of them to ever feel left out, thanks
July 2nd, 2008 at 5:55 pm
I’d heard of Kaboost, but didn’t realize that there were two different heights. Now I’m wondering if I should get one for my short Grandma.
July 2nd, 2008 at 5:58 pm
I love that it’s so compact. Space is a premium for us, so I like that it’s small itself, plus it allows us to use what we already have without having to clutter up the dining room with an extra high chair that takes up way too much room and is then completely useless when the child gets bigger.

I like how portable it is. It would be great for when we travel to our parents’ homes (4-6 hours away from our home) who don’t have high chairs. This would be perfect when our little one is finally home with us from Russia (we are adopting).

oh my gosh! that is a super cool idea!! portable and easy to use. i love that i don’t have to worry about having a booster or high chair at grandma’s house or my house either! i just pack the kaboost in it’s own little bag and take it with me to use with her chairs or at a restaurant. it’s gonna be great that my kid won’t be able to tip the chair even if he tries. very stable! adjustable height by flipping it over - it will grow with my son. lightweight, convenient - what more could a mother ask for. i have enough big and bulky stuff already to haul and this will be very, very nice and something that i will get “alot” of use out of! i “luv” the green one. super great invention!!
July 2nd, 2008 at 8:31 pm
I love how it lets toddlers sit like the big kids!
July 2nd, 2008 at 8:36 pm
I like it because it Stays attached even when chair is moved. This would be great for the grandkids.
July 2nd, 2008 at 8:37 pm
My daughter is just starting to be more interested in the big-girl seats than in her high chair. This would safely allow her to use a regular chair!
July 2nd, 2008 at 8:45 pm
I like that it easily folds up. It would be great for us because we have 2 little ones in highchairs right now, but only have 1 portable seat. It would be nice to have a second one, so I don’t have to feed one of the children from my lap!

I like that it can be used with any chair- that means that if we are out and about we can use this at grandma’s house, or uncle’s house, or even our house. And best of all, this facilitates the use of a “big boy” chair, which would be a hit at our house!

July 3rd, 2008 at 12:00 am
I love this because it looks like it would work great with any chair. This is perfect for at home and travel friendly. It’s perfect for my daughter. She is almost to big for the highchair, and has been really trying to sit at the table with her daddy and I. This is an amazing product.

I like that the chair is still usable for adults even with the Kaboost on. This is great for that “in between” preschool age where they still need a bit of a boost to reach the table but they are really too big to fit in a highchair, especially at a restaurant.

I just love the fact that it raises the chair so easily. It is such a neat idea with little effort that leaves smaller kids feeling like big kids. It is ot big and bulky and would add a nice booster when my nieces and nephews come over for a visit.
July 3rd, 2008 at 11:07 am
I think the Kaboost would work well for us because it is, well you say it in the post’s title: PORTABLE! This would work so well to take on trips when we go visit family and I just love the ease of use. Thanks for the entry.

July 3rd, 2008 at 2:17 pm
I really like that the Kaboost is under & not on top of the chair. Boosters on the chair get so nasty with little food crumbs & spills - this seems much cleaner!
July 3rd, 2008 at 2:26 pm
What a clever idea. And I loved those hilarious videos. My youngest can be a handful the table. He doesn’t want to sit in a high chair, he wants to sit at a big chair like his older brother and the adults. However, he isn’t quite tall enough to reach, so he ends up trying to stand in the chair. This would be terrific for our dining room.

We could really use this at home - our dining space is very cramped, there isn’t room for the high chair so we always end up eating on the sofa whle my daughter sits in front of us in her high chair. My favorite thing about Kaboost is that it would allow my child a feeling of independence since he is sitting on an actual chair, just like everyone else. And because the chair is raised up, he’d also be on a more equal playing field, rather than so much lower than everyone else. I was so excited the first time I saw Kaboost in Babies ‘R Us, and would love to have one! Thank you!
July 3rd, 2008 at 3:39 pm
I absolutely love the Kaboost for so many reasons! My child can sit at the table with us in a stable setting…no marks on the chair from a booster seat, the kaboost is transportable…I can go on and on! We love Kaboost!!

I like that it is so small. You are not dragging some huge crazy contraption everywhere
July 4th, 2008 at 10:58 am
I really like to entertain, but sometimes we have guests over, who have young children, and we do not have seating that is suitable for them, aside from our tall counter stools that have no backs. I would love to have a Kaboost on hand, since it is small enough to store easily away, unlike trying to keep a high chair around, and is easy to use. We have any number of dining chairs, just not ones that are high enough to make young children feel like part of the group.

I like that it holds up to a larger weight and that it adjusts with my child. I could use this for my girl.
July 5th, 2008 at 7:28 am
This would be great for when my granddaughter visits. Takes up less space.
July 5th, 2008 at 10:42 am
I LOVE that it fits on almost all chairs and it maintains the integrity of the dining room. Plus the colors are cool.
July 5th, 2008 at 11:28 am
I’m a grandmother, so this would be so handy to have in my house. And I like how it folds up, I do not have alot of extra space in my dining room
July 5th, 2008 at 11:29 am
Wow, cute and the right size. Not too big.
July 5th, 2008 at 12:28 pm
What a great product. Inventor is very creative. I love that a younger child can feel like a big kid by still being able to sit in a regular chair. Thanks for the contest.
July 5th, 2008 at 12:40 pm
The thing I like best is that my son can sit in the “grown up” chairs and be able to see over the table!

This would be wonderful for my son due to him not wanting to sit in a high chair anymore.. but really REALLY needing to, to be able to reach the table. I think that this would be perfect for him.
July 5th, 2008 at 5:10 pm
Love the video. The people who invented this are going to be very rich.

I like how it adjusts to fit any chair. This would be great because it can work for chairs at my house, nanny’s, and grandma’s.
July 5th, 2008 at 6:54 pm
I loved the youtube video. It was very funny and cute. I love how a child can feel like a big kid with it and not have to sit in a highchair like a baby.
July 5th, 2008 at 8:17 pm
My son would love this!!!
July 5th, 2008 at 8:51 pm
What a great product. My grandson would love this!
July 5th, 2008 at 9:39 pm
I love that you can use it for any chair!
July 5th, 2008 at 10:52 pm
I want one!!! What I like the most is that it is convenient and easy to take with you! The current booster seat we use is such a pain to take off and redo, that we never bring it anywhere, and then we wish we had it while we are visiting friends or family!

I love that it goes under the chair and eliminates the need for a booster. We tried a rubber booster seat that just tipped over with my son in it because he wouldn’t sit still. So we switched to a booster that straps on (meaning it never gets moved). I was sooo embarrassed when we had guest this weekend and needed the chair. The chair was disgusting underneath. Yuck!

it’s easy to transport
July 6th, 2008 at 12:54 am
I would love to win this for my little girl. She is four and very tiny so she can’t reach the table without a boaster yet. Last week I heard her lying to her playdate that her booster is her little sister’s. I know it embarrasses her and this would be a great solution!

I love the looked of this chair and I trust that it’s suitable for my boy. I am sure he won’t be fuss and whine any more.

I have a really small kitchen so I didn’t buy a high chair, I used one of those portable clamp-on to the table seats (high chairs take up too much floor space). Now my daughter is too big for the clamp-on seat and this is the answer I am looking for. If I don’t win, I need to buy it, but (dear hard working) hubby will say no, there’s other things we need more….so thanks for the chance to win!!!
July 6th, 2008 at 1:07 pm
this is a good thing thanks for the chance
July 6th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
Very cool prize that I would love to win!
July 6th, 2008 at 1:44 pm
I like that it will stay attached to the chair while it is being moved. My best friend has a little one that would get a lot of use out of one of these.
July 6th, 2008 at 1:57 pm
Its portability is as impressive as it is useful. Cool.
July 6th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
I love the fact that it is designed to be quick and easy to use. I would love for my 3 year to feel as if she were at the table with us, not under it!
July 6th, 2008 at 5:32 pm
I love that is makes the chair more stable. My three year old always manages to tip her chair over at dinnertime.
July 6th, 2008 at 6:51 pm
Why should your children have to use their knees…when they can use one of these?!
July 6th, 2008 at 7:25 pm
I like how easy it is to use along with how safe it seems.
I am really going to need a “booster” product when my two year old out grows the high chair and this seems to go better than some clunky plastic seat that I have a hard time unstrapping and removing when we have guests.

this is really great. i like that it stays attached even when the chair is moved. plus it holds 300 lbs. i can see my older grandchildren trying to sit in it when no one is watching.
July 6th, 2008 at 8:38 pm
What a great idea!
July 6th, 2008 at 9:12 pm
Wow! Very original idea. The Kaboost would be so handy, since it is small enough to take along just about anywhere - restaurants, friends houses, Grandma’s house! Thanks for the giveaway!
July 6th, 2008 at 9:30 pm
Oh handy! I like this for travel.. I think it be nice to take this to places a booster may not work… or to make a toddler feel like a bigger boy.. i battle the baby act a lot w/ my 3 yr old.. always wanting to sit in baby chairs.. because his 18 mo old brother does. so this would be neat to have!

Well, my 2 year old needs some help getting up to the big table sometimes. She always sits at the big table with us, but this way she’ll have a MUCH easier time reaching her food!

Thank you for this great giveaway. I love that the Kaboost is portable. I hate finding the high chairs in restaurants that are broken or dirty , it would be nice to bring something that i know will work every time

I like how it improves a chair’s stability.
July 7th, 2008 at 4:16 am
I love the testimonials. As one mom says, my almost two year old is shunning his high chair and many times just refuses to eat - but is all interested when he’s down. I love that this booster stabilizes the chair too, so he can eat at our height without us worrying. Too much. Besides - peas in our hair!
July 7th, 2008 at 9:42 am
great idea! — i like how its not permanently affixed - you can take it with you to grandparent’s house. Really good idea
I hope I’m the lucky winner! I can use this right now!
July 7th, 2008 at 11:19 am
i love that it goes under the chair so it wouldnt scratch my new chairs thats just awesome
July 7th, 2008 at 11:39 am
good idea! I have 2 littles that think they are too big for boosters. They NEED this!
July 7th, 2008 at 12:21 pm
This product is awesome. It will be perfect when the new baby arrives and I need to graduate my daughter to the table. She can feel like part of the family and not in a booster.
July 7th, 2008 at 1:46 pm
I like that it’s portable. It would be great to have for the little one who is big for her age and not wanting to use a booster seat.
July 7th, 2008 at 2:09 pm
What a wonderful idea! It is great that it is portable. I am expecting my baby girl in August, this would be great to have.

That is just brilliant! It’s great to have for the grandkids when they come over. That way you don’t have to store an entire booster chair. I would love to win this!
July 7th, 2008 at 4:05 pm
I like that it comes in colors that will fit in with my dining room. This would be great for my daughter who is small for her age. She doesn’t want a booster, but she’s too short without it.l
July 7th, 2008 at 6:38 pm
would love it for my little guy!!
July 7th, 2008 at 7:49 pm
I really like that it stays attached when you move the chair. That is such a big help!
July 7th, 2008 at 8:06 pm
I like that I won’t need to use a phone book anymore. Thanks for the giveaway!!
July 7th, 2008 at 9:17 pm
My grandson will need this booster very soon.
July 7th, 2008 at 9:56 pm
I must have this! My 2.5-year-old is far too big for a booster (why are they only made for teeny-tiny children?!) but looks so pathetic with just his eyes peering over the top of the table at his food. If I won the contest, I also wouldn’t feel so bad about not having invented this ingenius device myself…
July 8th, 2008 at 12:25 am
great prize.
July 8th, 2008 at 12:57 am
I like that it folds up for storage or for taking out.
July 8th, 2008 at 2:36 am
I like how KABOOST is engineered to improve chair stability. It will work for me because it is easy to use.
July 8th, 2008 at 11:54 pm
I love that it fits any kind of four-legged chair and is so easy to transport. What a great idea!
July 9th, 2008 at 7:04 pm
what a fantastic way to transition my “big girl” out of her high chair so baby brother can have it…
July 11th, 2008 at 3:38 pm
What a great idea! I LOVE that it’s portable. No more wishing I had a high chair when at a friend’s house for dinner.
