KangarooBoo $25 Gift Certificate Giveaway
I’ve been searching for companies that I can comfortably recommend to my readers, and when it comes to toys, that means the best and safest I can find. (And let’s not forget fun!) I’ve recently discovered KangarooBoo, and I’m very happy to be able to share them with you.
Owned by Jennic and Justin Law, this entrepreneurial couple is above the mark in my book! Ten weeks after their wedding, Jennic was diagnosed with cancer (Hodgkin’s Lymphoma). She was 24. They’re not loaded with batteries, and they won’t talk back or do all the playing while your child sits back and watches. These are real toys for real kids who want to play!

I was impressed by the very first toy I saw on the site. The Click Clack tower reminds me of Plinko, my favorite “Price Is Right” game. I’ve been wanting to get some stacking blocks for my daughter, so I was excited there was a whole section for Building & Stacking.

My daughter is really getting into cars! I think she would flip over the parking garage.
My 9 month old son would really enjoy the “Peek-a-Boo animals from Zid Zid kid as well as some of the Haba blocks. Great website!!! I can guarantee you that I will be buying things from here and I am sending this to all of the relatives (hint hint!)

I’m a HUGE fan of Green Toys, Indoor gardening set. I plan on starting my own herb garden this year, but to have an indoor one for my little dirt lovers would be great. I’d love to start teaching my 1.5 year old how things are “born”. This is perfect. And with the 25$, I’d purchase things for the holidays, and save them. Her b-day is Christmas day, so I have to save up early. That’s alot of gifts!

I love the Pets Touch and Feel Puzzle by Melissa and Doug. My daughter is really into animals, and she is finally getting to the age where she understands how to manipulate objects to allow them to sit correctly inside of a puzzle, etc.

Creative Blocks by Plan Toys - I had blocks when I was younger and I remember playing for hours with them. They were just painted wooden blocks but they kept me entertained! It seems with all the “high tech” gadgets out there for younger kids, no one even thinks about blocks anymore. But I make sure each child in my life, niece, nephew, friends kids, my kids - get blocks for a gift. Funny how they too, spend hours stacking and building, instead of pressing buttons and watching TV.
