Congratulations Shaundra!  Enjoy your free lunch…

Are you busy?  Don’t know what you’re having for lunch, let alone dinner?  If you’re at all like me (and I know you are!) you’re probably so wrapped up making sure your kids get a healthy lunch that by the time it gets to your turn, your meal is–well, less than nutritious.  The kids ate well, so you feel good until you look at your own plate.  I know, we all do it–eat standing up, stuffing down the kids’ leftovers or grabbing whatever weird stuff out of the fridge we can.  But what if I could offer you a more than simple solution, one that’s healthy and organic and meets dkMommy Spot’s picky, picky standards?

I tried Kashi’s new 7 Whole Grain Pilafs recently and I was greatly impressed.  Yes, they’re called side dishes, but I ate mine for lunch.  The whole bag.  By myself, guilt free.  You literally rip open the bag, plunk it in a bowl with a couple of tablespoons of water, and heat it up for about 30 seconds.  I tried the Moroccan Curry which was delicious, loaded with whole grains, dried currants, and of course curry, among other ingredients.  But none of the ingredients are preservatives, additives, colorings, etc.  Perfect!

I have one bag of Fiery Fiesta 7 Whole Grain Pilaf to give away to one hungry mom or dad looking for a healthy free lunch. See?  There IS such a thing as a free lunch!
