Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal Giveaway
On Monday my sister and I were having one of those deep sisterly chats all sisters have. She was consoling me. She may be my younger sis, but her advice should not go unheeded.
“I’m sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but it’s true. Capn’ Crunch is the most unhealthy cereal in the store. Now, give me a hug.”
Alright, so I haven’t really eaten Capn’ Crunch in years, or any of its counterparts for that matter. I’m well versed in the evils of high fructose corn syrup. But darnit, I miss that stuff! So imagine my astonishment when Tuesday brought some Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal to my door. Surprise, surprise, it tastes like Capn’ Crunch! Even better. Because of the whole grains and high fiber content, I found it to be a very satisfying snack. (Yes, I snack on cereal.) And it’s not branchy or twiggy either; not all healthy cereals are like chewing on wood chips, mind you! If you’ve got kids, or if you’re just a fan of cereal, you’ll enjoy Honey Sunshine Cereal. And since Kashi sent me an extra box, that means I get to share with one of you!

I love Kashi. In our area it is one of the FEW organic items at all in the grocery store, let alone affordable organic. I have tried many items, but I didn’t know they made freezer dinners! MMMMM….. I’d love to try this cereal, too. Thanks for the contest!

One of the local “talk show” hosts spend much of his on-air time (when he had no callers) expounding on how delicious Kashi Crunch is. What a great advertisement. Now, I just have to try it. Hope my grocery carries the product - they seem to be out of everything lately. I like a simple bowl of cereal in the morning and “good for you” is really hard to come by.

I love Kashi products and have yet to meet one I didn’t like. The 7-Grain Pilaf is great for breakfast, and I eat the Cinnamon Harvest cereal for a snack, right out of the box.

This sounds great! Kashi is one of the brands of cereal that we always have in the house, my husband is a cereal freak! A favorite is Oat Flakes & Wild Blueberry Clusters. I would love to try to find the Mighty Bites for my son, I have not seen this one yet in the store.

Kashi Strawberry Fields is my absolute favorite cereal. It has little strawberry bites throughout, delicious. Kashi 7 grains of stuff is one of my favorite brands.

Speaking of corn syrup, I noticed an ad in a parenting magazine recently from the Corn Refiners Association trying to convince us that high-fructose corn syrup was as safe as sugar. As if we’re that gullible!
My family eats a lot of Kashi products. I like the Kashi Frozen Entrees for a quick lunch at work (particularly the Chicken Florentine) and I often include Kashi crackers or granola bars in my daughter’s lunch.

I really like Kashi cereals. GoLean Crunch is great, as is Good Friends. Those little twigs are just delicious! And I know this isn’t a product of theirs that one can purchase, per se, but I think the Kashi advertisements on television that I’ve seen in the last couple of years are great. (Where they talk about traveling the world for good food.) Tasty food from a company that runs cool ads? Yeah, I’d like to win some of that.

I love their original 7 grain crackers. They are great with cheese, PB, cold cuts, whatever.
Love Capn Crunch so would love to try your cereal.
