The presents are wrapped, the tree is decorated, the house smells like fresh baked sweet breads. But although I’ve got a good jump on the cooking, I sometimes overestimate my abilities to cook with the speed of Phelps. So I shall take today off from my usual blogging frenzy to instead delve into the midst of heaps of Romanian potato salad, honey almonds, and our favorite Christmas soup recipe. In the meantime, watch this lovely video and as you take in the zeal of a gift being opened, you’ll also get a glimpse at how I react when I receive a review item. Thank goodness no one sends me leg lamps…
I love that movie. My family watches it every Thanksgiving. I will probably watch that movie tonight since it’s just me and the kids tonight (boyfriend is working). I told my boyfriend I was going to get him a leg lamp for Christmas. LOL!

NOT my favorite Cmas movie – not even close and I am thrilled to say that I did not get a leg lamp this year – ha ha. Hope everyone had a simply marvelous Christmas celebrating the things that really matter – faith, family and friends!
