Inorganic Fertilizers are produced from synthetic chemicals while Organic Fertilizers are coming from natural, organic material. This is an oversimplification of course and the differences between inorganic and Organic Fertilizers sometimes could get blurry. For instance, minerals that occurred naturally like mine rock phosphate, limestone and saltpeter, although they are technically considered inorganic, have been widely used as fertilizers since centuries ago and they are safe to use just like the organic fertilizers.
