Nervous? Depressed? Just Plain Stressed Out? Natural Remedies to Help

When life gets so tough you’d rather crawl back into bed and wait for things to get better, pamper yourself with some calming all-natural herb teas. Quick and easy, these herbs can get you through. Because being a mom doesn’t stop when we get stressed.
Nervous? Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a teaspoon of dried lemon balm. Let it steep for 10 minutes and strain out the herb. Sweeten the tea if you like. This will relax you and even relieve heart palpitations.
Depressed? Try dried primrose flowers. Steep about 3 Tbs. in 2 cups boiling water and let it stand for 15 minutes covered. Strain out the primrose and sweeten as desired.
Hysterical??? Yes, Mom, you. It happens - so don’t knock yourself out about it. Instead, steep 2 bay leaves in 1 cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove the leaves and sweeten if you like.
Tomorrow I’ll be telling you about ways to get to sleep with the aid of herbal teas, so check back in!
