New eBook “Hair Gone Wild: Recipes & Remedies for Natural Tresses” FREE to 20 Readers!

My new ebook Hair Gone Wild: Recipes & Remedies for Natural Tresses has just been published on Amazon, and I’m excited to give away copies to several dkMommy Spot readers and Twitter followers. This ebook is loaded with recipes and remedies for everything from henna techniques and hairspray recipes to how to ditch the shampoo and clean your hair naturally. I’ll be giving away up to 20 copies, and not just to those of you with Kindles. If you have a PC, a Mac, an iPhone or other device, you can easily grab a free Kindle app with which to read your copy. (I use my Kindle app for PC all the time – even though I have a Kindle too. It’s great for reference type material.)

This is NOT a heavily publicized giveaway, so your chances of winning will be much higher than usual. This is geared towards you, the readers of dkMommy Spot and my Twitter followers.

To Enter: All you have to do to enter for one of 20 free copies is to swing by Hair Gone Wild’s Amazon page and see if it looks like something you might enjoy owning. If you like what you see, please click the bright orange “LIKED” button to the right of the cover image. Then come back here and leave me a comment with your email address and let me know you’d like a copy. On March 22, 2012, I’ll select 20 people to receive one. Winners will be contacted by email.

  1. I did not see a a “bright orage LIKED button to the right of the cover image to click, but I love your herb book, read your no poo posts, and would love a copy of this ebook. THANKS!

  2. The “Liked” button to the right of the cover image is located on the Amazon page beneath the book’s title. It has a thumbs-up icon. Hope that helps!

  11. I can’t wait to read your book and see what I can do different with my hair. It is ‘virgin’ hair and it is wavy in spots, curly in others and semi straight in others. Hopefully there will be something that will help me achieve an easy pretty way to style my hair. Thank you for writing a book that us ‘regular’ people can read and enjoy.

  12. I already I have your other two books and would love to add this one to the collection. I’ve been using the herbs with great results. Thank you.

  13. I would love to hav a copy & share more with my friends. Myself is a mother of 3 young kids love your ideas on natural diy product. Looking 4ward winning your book.

  14. The like button doesn’t turn orange until you click it. 😉 Of course, I liked it, because I love your first two. They’re a great read, even if you never do anything with them! (I will, though.)
Cindy´s last blog post ..Throw Down That Book!

  15. Darnit, you’re right! The “Liked” button is gray until it’s clicked. Well, click it and get an orange prize. Yessir, that button will glow with orange goodness every time you visit it. It’s not free chocolate, but it’s soooo pretty.

  16. as i go back to when you first started your exploration of going shampooless, you know i would have to go for this asap!

i am glad you not only figured it out, you have published your results for others!

o, yes, i did go to amazon and liked it!

  17. I would love a copy of your book. I”m just getting started with no poo and am gathering information. I’ve had problems with dull, sticky hair at my scalp, and no one (hair dressers, doctors) could tell me why. I was afraid my hair would start falling out. Then after surgery last year, I lost a lot of hair, even my hair dresser was shocked. It’s been growing back thank goodness.

After one wash/rinse with baking soda and vinegar, my hair is the cleanest and shiniest it’s been in years and the dull, sticky look is totally gone, AND it feels great.

I look forward to reading more.

  18. This looks really interesting. I’d love a copy. I’ve been ‘poo-less for about a year now, and I LOVE my hair, and am always interested and trying to find good things for my hair. I’m currently trying to grow my hair longer.

  19. I’m a 17 year old girl who is rebelling against commercial shampoos and soaps!!! I’m beginning to really hate the harsh chemicals put into them and winning this book would really help me along in my quest for natural beauty:) Thanks a ton for this opportunity!

  20. I would love to read the info you have collected on your hair quest. It was you who originally inspired me to go no poo, which I have been since. Bring on the rest of the info!
