I have long since determined a good kid’s shoe is hard to find.  It seems the vast majority are made of plastic or thin, cheap leather.  I am the type of person who shops long and hard to find something that will last; I’m also the type of person who never buys children’s clothing that lights up, talks, sings, or eats batteries for breakfast.  Thus no Chinese plastic footwear.  See Kai Run shoes are the sort of high quality children’s shoes I can feel good about on all counts.

See Kai Run produces a very well-constructed product.  Their children’s shoes, made of thick, soft lambskin, also offer great foot support and cushioning perfectly designed for a growing toddler, as well as a very flexible sole that I especially like.  My son, almost three, loves his Grayson sandals.  So do I.  It took only a glance to know these are shoes that will last.  One thing I always look for in children’s clothing is durability.  I want my son’s clothes and shoes to outlast his need for them so they can be donated to someone else later.  His little sandals are so well built that I’m confident some other child somewhere in the world will be able to enjoy them next.  For those of you with large families, this means saving serious dough in the longrun.  My husband’s Eastern European grandfather always said, “We’re too poor to be cheap,” meaning that it’s good to spend a little money on quality now so you won’t need to pay for replacements later.  Wise man! (See Kai Run has lots of kid’s shoe sales running now; make that Old World Grandfather smile!)

  2. So I’ve been a fan of See Kai Run for almost a year now. Their shoes are made wonderfully and just so darn FUN. My son had the little green ones (Bent) which I got so many compliments before he grew out of them. I’ve been torn between Jayce & Kian. Kian is a more brit punk feel while Jayce just screams mini mod. Win or lose I LOVE their shoes and definitely suggest them for all the dapper little lads out there.
