“Simply Neutral” House Cleaning Trio Giveaway

PhotobucketCongratulations to Christine – happy cleaning!!!

I’ve been waiting for this giveaway and it’s finally here!  If there’s one thing I am insistent upon keeping chemical free in my home, it’s cleaning products.  So when I got my Value Pack from Simply Neutral (There’s one for you too!) I couldn’t wait to try them out.  Simply Neutral’s cleaning products are 100% natural with no preservatives, no added fragrance, no nasty fume-filled chemicals.  The scents you experience while cleaning are from the essential oils they select for their cleaning properties, and that’s it.  I spent a great deal of time scrubbing my kitchen and bathrooms with these products, and my two-year-old was nearby throughout most of it.  I felt perfectly safe.

The three products in this giveaway set includes: One full-sized bottle of All-Purpose Cleaner, one full-sized bottle of No-VOC Glass Cleaner, and one full-sized bottle of Non-Abrasive Cleaner.  The Non-Abrasive Cleaner works every bit as well as the commercial bleach scrubby stuff without giving you a chemical hand bath; believe me, I have one tough kitchen sink!  It’s an old one with worn-away glaze, and I managed to get that thing sparkling.  The No-VOC Glass Cleaner works wonderfully, better than my old standby of vinegar and water.  Besides, it’s unscented so my house doesn’t smell like a tossed salad when I’m done.  The All-Purpose Cleanser has essential oils that smell wonderfully, and man, does that stuff work on my stove!  I am not the neatest of cooks, not by a long shot.  So it’s nice having a bottle of this at hand.

Now I’ll bet you’d like to clean up on this giveaway!  Here’s your chance.  Simply Neutral will send one lucky winner their Value Pack.  (If you can’t wait, you can buy your own Value Pack online for only $14.99.  These are big bottles, and the price is fantastic compared to other natural cleaners.)

I also like the cutting board cleaning tip. “If you have an area that you need to sanitize (for instance, a cutting board), there’s a less toxic way to kill germs. First, spray the surface with undiluted vinegar, then spray with undiluted hydrogen peroxide. Let sit a few minutes and rinse clean.”

I never thought to avoid combining cleaners. Yikes, I could have made some huge explosion in my house due to this! I’ll avoid this in the future and I would love to try these supplies

  • I found the sanitizing tip very helpful. The vinegar and peroxide one. I would have never thought of that. I’ve read other sites that mention certain natural things to sanitize but this one sounds like it would be the best. I’m anxious to try it out. I’m all about cleaning naturally with 2 little ones at home. It’s the least I can do for them.

I like that you get a cute free “chicobag” with your order (of $35 or more, of course!). Thanks so much!

I really like the Go Green Starter Pack, and will keep that in mine as a gift idea for some co-workers this coming Holiday season.

  • lindsey

    The starter kit looks neat

I enjoyed reading about how the company got started. I like using natural cleaners, too, but have the same reservations about vinegar and borax. I love that these cleaners use palm kernel oil and corn sugar.

  • Jennifer Hill

I like the disinfectant spray. Most companies that offer green cleaning don’t seem to have a disenfectant. That is something I like to have to clean up after I handle raw meat and such.

I din’t know that one could use apumice stick or stone to help clean. That is a fantastic idea. It is usually natural.

  • Lindsie

I am so glad I visited that site! I have been looking for the natural answer to my hard water stains forever! For hard water rings on toilets, use a pumice stone.

  • Linda Pinto

I am so glad to find the web site about using natural cleaners. I just bought a huge jug of store brand vinegar (not expensive) and will use it from now on. There were suggestions for using the Simply Neutral products as well as vinegar. I really appreciated the directions for cleaning an oven in a non-toxic way.

  • One thing I learned from the site is that it’s not cheap to use biodegradable wipes. At $7.00 for 50 wipes, that’s a lot. All the more reason to win this trio. Thanks for the giveaway.

I find it interesting as well as sad that more isn’t being done to test and regulate the chemicals being used to make various products be buy.

  • Christina

I am suprised by how many chemicals are in our cleaning products and how little the government does to stop it!

  • Bailey

The prices are great! Much cheaper than other alternatives I’ve looked at online.

I like the organic cotton produce bags. I avoid plastic bags at all costs, and these would be great to use for veggies and fruit when shopping.

Their site reminded me of how great vinegar is. I had a filthy looking shower stall drain pan. I tried every cleaner that I could find. As a last resort, I taped up the drain and filled the drain pain with a slightly diluted vinegar/water combo. I let it sit for a few hours and it looked brand new with a very light and gentle wipe down.

PureGreen24 is something I’d like to try.

I like the Green Starter Pack!

I enjoy learning about eco-friendly all natural cleaning products! I am so pleased to learn about another company that offers them! One product that really appealed to me is the Non-abrasive cleanser 16 oz. tea tree + citrus – can you imagine being able to clean your home and have the pleasure of inhaling tea tree and citrus aromas! That just sounds so pleasant! Thank you for introducing us to the Simply Neutral Products today!

  • Judith G.

I learned that products that say they “sanitize” or kill bacteria generally contain toxic ingredients you don’t want in your home. I like the fact they give a lot of good suggestions on their site for more natural cleaners (including vinegar and peroxide). Thanks for sponsoring this giveaway. I’d like to try their products.

  • The Go Green Starter pack is something I’d love. Great giveaway! Count me in. bebemiqui82(at)yahoo(dot)com

    anything green is good.

  • Jackie B.

I like the fact that there is no harm in using the products in combination. Most cleaners contain either bleach, ammonia, or some other harsh chemical that when they are mixed can become a lethal concoction.
    Gotta love going green!

  • Elizabeth M.

I learned that the products don’t contain chemicals and that has become so important to me. I can remember using chemically laden products to clean my shower walls before and feeling just sick from the smell and obnoxious fumes. I could only imagine if it made me feel that way from the smell that it must be very bad for me inside my body too. I’d love to try out the all-purpose cleaner. I use that multiple times a day.

  • Elizabeth M.

    I’m a subscriber too.

  • Beverley Justice

The citrus all-purpose cleaner sounds refreshing!

  • I learned not to use these types of products on aluminum

  • I didn’t even know that sponges were bad for the enviroment.

Thanks for the giveaway, I would love to try these.
