The “400th Post” 2-Year Anniversary Giveaway!
That’s right, dkMommy Spot has hit its 400th post! And are my typing fingers tired. Well, not really. I’m actually just gearing up and to prove it, I’m going to have a very special giveaway as a thank you to dkMommy Spot readers.
dkMommy Spot started out two years ago on the 26th of October and it’s gone through quite a few shifts, including a move to its own web address, the addition of giveaways, podcasting, and of course loads of alternative solutions for chemical-free families. So what better way to celebrate than to give away something all-natural? Here’s what the winner will receive:

1 bag Chamomile tea (loose leaf - or should I say “flower”?)

I enjoy the posts on homemade products. I have been slowly replacing many of my commercial bought household cleaning products with homemade and it really makes a difference in my budget and the health of our household.

Happy 2 year anniversary! That’s fantastic. I love the new look to the site; you did a great job with it. I’m sure my favorite part of your site is the product reviews that you do. I’ve learned about so many vegan and vegetarian items through those and it’s been super helpful since my daughter is vegan. You also published a raw soup recipe fairly recently which I gave her and she made it for her boyfriend (who is raw vegan) and it was well received and delicious. And lastly, you’re a fellow Michigander so I’ve always got bloggy love for ya!

Congratulations Diane! I’ve been following your blog for a while and just love all of your posts. Your approach to health and wellness is akin to what I try to do, with herbs, natural remedies, and eco-friendly products. I love reading about the products you find and the herbs that you gather. I enjoy the posts on natural cleaning products too, since having a safe and clean home is important to me as the mother to a 6 month old. And of course I love your green giveaways too.

OK initially I signed up for the giveaways and they are great, but after subscribing to the newsletter my favorite thing became the home remedy herbal stuff that you do. It reminds me of a medicinal tribal woman or something and I love it!

I love the e-mails I get form you. Most I look and delete. But some make me read thru it completely. I prefer natural health solutions. Items that calm. Help with indigestion. Sooth dry skin. Issues that a 50-year old woman deals with to continue day to day.

I have been enjoying your series on herbs. I have a little herb garden in my front flower bed. I had a big herb garden when I lived in south Florida and it was year round. It has been fun to see the medicinal uses for some of the plants I consider weeds, nay enemies - ha!

I’m all about the use of herbs. In fact I have found herbs that work for conditions which left doctors totally useless, so I enjoy any post about the use of herbs. Which reminds me there is nothing better than Hot Chamomile Tea for a cold and Winter is on its way. Please add me into the drawing.

There are a lot of things I enjoy about your blog, but I’ll give you a few of them. Of course, the giveaways. Everyone loves giveaways! Another thing I enjoy is the coupon and discount section. Since I’m unable to work since becoming disabled, it’s critical that I save money any way I can. Your lists are always so thorough. I also really enjoy the fact that I’ve learned a lot since discovering your blog. Your articles are always very well written, which I really appreciate, and they are about relevant topics, such as natural cleaners and natural products. Keep up the fabulous job!!!
