If there’s one natural product I’m always interested in finding, it’s a good hand lotion. I’m up here in the frigid North, and although we suffer from humid summers, the dry of winter is always looming around the corner. With it comes dry, cracked hands, something I’m always battling. The Green Goddess, an online store featuring all those deliciously natural health and beauty aides we love around here, carries a fantastic hand cream from Biologika. Not only does it contain apricot oil in its short, safe list of ingredients, but it’s made in France – oui, oui.
On my recent hiatus, I did a lot of herb hunting in the northern forests. I had my hands in some fantastic dirt, and so I spent a lot of time scrubbing my hands at the end of the day. Fortunately, I’d packed my Biologika Hand Cream so I never had a problem with dry skin. For me, one sure sign of a good hand lotion is discovering that even if I skip a day of usage, my hands are still feeling great. I experienced this with Biologika one day, so I’m confident it’s healing at a deeper skin level than just at the surface.
The Green Goddess carries a large line of products just as impressive as Biologika. Their site is a lot of fun to shop around in, and I’ve discovered a lot of companies I didn’t even know existed. I’d like you to discover The Green Goddess too. They’re giving away a Biologika Hand Cream to one of you (a $22 retail value), so take a visit to their online store and do some “window shopping”. Come back here and tell me what you’ve found.

I would LOVE to try this, my hands are begging for it (and winter is just around the corner o.0 it’s only going to get worse, lol).
Wow, what a great site, I really liked their ‘did you know’ section, and talk about variety! I really liked the Segreti di Natura Men’s Facial Moisturizing Cream…it’s hard to talk my husband into trying my natural lotions, and he won’t listen to my insistence that he’s poisoning himself and the environment with what he puts on his face, but if it’s labeled specifically for men, he’ll gladly slap it on…geesh!

In addition to the Hand Cream, I also like the DOFTA Country Charm Yellow Sun Lamp and the AHAVA Mineral Body Exfoliator.
How do you choose?????????
I would LOVE to try anything.

I like the Dofta flameless candles to clean the air. I am not sure how they work, but they are intriguing and the lamps are beautiful.
I also love soy candles that can be used a hand moisturizer.
Because I love all things lavender, the Biologika Gel de Lavande Cleansing Gel is right up my alley! It is 96% organic and is made with organic lavender with first cold-pressed sunflower oil and a hint of vanilla extract. Almost good enough to eat!
AHAVA mineral body lotion
The Ahava Uplifting Butter Salts and the Amazonian Nutrients shampoos sound great.
My fav would be the AHAVA Stress Melt Butter Salt, AHAVA mineral hand cream and foot cream, and Pearls-Rubies-Roses Ruby Body Peel

Organic Apoteke Detox Facial Mask, Certified Organic
If anything can make the urban jungle bearable, it would have to be the Maui Salons Coconut and Macadamia Nut Shampoo and conditioner. Yes, I want luxurious, shiny and full bodied hair like Hawaiian women! Sounds yummy too!
Sorry don’t know how to blog – but thank you for such a wonderful prize.
Thanks also for all the great contests and prizes!

Gee, Kind of hard to pick a FAVORITE!!!!! There are so many products. But, I would have to say that the Beauty Brazil Anti-Ageing Serum sounds good. The Maui Salons Coconut/Macadamia Nut Shampoo and Conditioner sound good, too. Thank you.
The item that struck me as a “must have” was the AHAVA Multi-Vitamin Dry Oil. With its minty fragrance, I am sure this would be one of the most soothing skin care product ever!
I did not expect to visit this site and learn about all the uses of WD-40. How awesome that list is. I never knew that it was mostly fish oil. I always assumed it was petroleum based. I have some mirrors to treat so they don’t fog up.
laces last blog post..Monster Sunflowers
the AHAVA Dermud Foot Cream would be awesome for my husband..
I’m really liking the sounds of the Time Line Elixirs! Like the eye cream, continual eye treat and the all day moisture.
By the way, living in the north too, I fight continual dry hand issues myself!
Formaldehyde… the stuff used to embalm dead bodies…. and the US still uses it in cosmetics…. NICE!!!!!!!!!! I wonder, is it used as a preservative?! Anyhow, I am big on that whole school of thought, where, if you wouldn’t eat it… then you shouldn’t use it on your body… after all, the skin is the body’s largest organ, and it absorbs whatever is on it into the blood stream…. just some food for thought…… I’d like nice, soft, youthful hands…. without having to risk poisioning my body to get them… this sounds like it would fo the trick. Besides, it’s french… and we all know that the french are tres sexy!!!!
OOH! I totally love the ColourChange Lipstick by LEPO. I had a lipstick like that as a teen. I wish it came in a smaller sampler pack so you could try the individual colors before you committed to just one.
Woah! Lead in my lipstick? I need to check out some alternatives. Thanks for putting me onto that site.
