Looking to add some great new flavors to your kitchen? I often cook with coconut oil; it’s a versatile oil that can handle very high heat better than the others, and the flavor it offers is like no other. I’ve been trying out Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil lately, and although I’ve used many other brands in the past, I’m being honest when I tell you that Tropical Traditions is the best I’ve tried. Some coconut oils I’ve used smelled a hint rancid when they were supposedly fresh off the shelf. Others had a kind of lumpy texture to it, possibly too much time on the shelf as well. But Tropical Traditions has all their bases covered when it comes to fresh coconut oil.
Tropical Traditions’ Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is 100% USDA Organic. It’s fresh; not rancid, not lumpy. My favorite part? Opening that jar for the first time! It smells like fresh coconuts. I just had to try it right away, so I hopped right into the book Virgin Coconut Oil and tried out a few recipes. I was not disappointed, nor was my family. I do use it more often for cooking, now that I’ve found the good stuff. (You can get that book for free here.)
So, here’s some more giveaway fun! Tropical Traditions is giving one dkMommy Spot reader a free quart of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil! ($37.50 retail.) Read on and get entered!

I had no idea that coconut oil could be used as a tooth cleaner! Wow, you learn something new every day. I will definately be spending more time exploring this site. Thank you so much for pointing it out to me. I’ve been a follower of you blog for a long time and have yet to win anything here, but I would love to win this give-away as I’ve been wanting to try coconut oil for a long time and just haven’t been able to get past the price tag yet. If it’s as good as everything I read, it sounds like a worthwhile investment, but I think I’m going to have to win some in order to get around to trying it for the first time.
i’ve had my eye on the VALENCIA CREAMY ORGANIC PEANUT BUTTER. it sounds like it is well-made, something you can’t always find nowadays.
by the way, i’m already an email subscriber. HI!
