I have never been to Whole Foods. I believed the whole paycheck hype. After looking around the Whole Story, I now want to go check out the “Real Deal” for myself. Thanks for the contest.

I was surprised to learn that Whole Foods won a price comparison between several other grocery stores. I love Whole Foods, but always thought they’d be more expensive if we were to really sit and compare.

  • We bought our first cloth bags at Whole Foods. They are the only store that carries the assortment of nutrition bars we like. THanks for offering this. I did not know they won price comparison tests wow. I’m even more impressed.

I love Whole Foods-especially the variety of produce and that they tell you where it comes from. If you buy the more “specialty” type stuff they can be pricey but their specials are good and their store branded items are a good value and good quality. I use their shampoo all the time and it is only $1.99 a bottle.

  • I had no idea that Whole Foods did Value Tours. I looked our store up online and found that I just missed one on the 29th, but I am sure another one will be hosted soon.

  • I liked the Whole Foods flagship Austin, Texas store’s Video Value Tour. Who would know better than the staff the very best bargains that WF offers? I say, take tips from the pros! I have a Whole Foods cloth bag that I enjoy using along with other colorful and memorable cloth shopping bags. What a great store! Thank you for the opportunity to win a Whole Foods card – what a treat!

I like that they don’t sell live lobsters because they can’t be sure if they are being treated humanely. tinawittmer(at)yahoo(dot)com

  • I learned they use a lot of testers for the skin care products they carry! Cool!

  • Mya Brooks

I learned they have great prices and very comparable to other grocery stores! Not to mention, having the best produce. I love to shop there!

  • Carol

I have never shopped there, but there’s one near my home. I learned that their prices are not high, and that is a great place for perishables such as produce, dairy.

  • sandy

i love the quality and unusual prioducts that are yummy

  • Elizabeth

I like everything at Whole Foods… their produce is wonderful, their food bar is awesome and the quality of service is the best…

I worked for a Whole Foods when I lived in Chapel Hill. I didn’t work there long, because I moved, but it was one of the BEST companies I have ever worked for! I wish we had a whole foods in my town! I have to drive 45 minutes to go to one, but it is worth it!
I learned what MSG really is by reading the blog!

  • Bebe

I love Whole Foods, we don’t have any stores in the central NY area, we are so deprived!!

  • So, I will be honest – I didn’t think they would actually win a price comparison! I do all my grocery shopping at Whole Foods, and just thought I would have to bite the bullet and pay higher prices – it is great to see that they are actually taking a look at their competitors for the sake of their customer’s wallets!

  • Go Amie

I love the couscous podcast (I am listening right now). I think couscous is delicious, but I don’t know how to use it in very many ways. This is perfect.

  • Ellie

Whole Foods is the best grocery store ever! We shop there all the time. This is an excellent giveaway, thank you. If you like artichokes, Whole Foods have the biggest and best artichokes I have ever seen. One is a meal in itself. Good luck everyone.

  • Jenny

I didn’t know that Whole Foods did the value tour thing. That’s pretty awesome.

  • I had no idea they offered tours. I only recently moved to an area with Whole Foods stores and I kinda get lost in there. I’ll have to look into when they’re having their next tour.

  • The Chipotle Chicken Salad recipe looks delicious!

Thank you for the chance to win in this giveaway.

We love Whole Foods! My sister in law lives in Chicago, and there is one 6 blocks from her house. After we eat (they make very very tiny portions), hubs and I go for a walk AKA escape to Whole Foods so that I can scarf on the way back!

Loved that they have a website that gives personal stories of other peoples thoughts!

    Thank you!

  • Trisha

I like that you can look up your local store’s online calendar – I think they have the best events at my Whole Foods – I love the cheese tasting!

  • michelle rosborough

I’ve never been to Whoe Foods so I didn’t know they put out testers of the skin care products that they carry.

  • Thanks for the offer. I like their granola among other things!

  • I love Whole Foods! This is a fabulous giveaway idea. :)

What I learned from the Whole Story blog is that US grown peppers have been cleared as a source of the salmonella outbreak. I had seen several news stories on TV about the risk from jalapenos, and one had mentioned a grower in Mexico…but I had not heard that the US had been definitely cleared. This changes what I will be buying this weekend because I had been avoiding pretty much all pepper, including bell peppers, because of worries about the salmonella issue.

  • Sandra

I love the idea of the value tours. It is a great idea and one I would like to take.

  • They offer eggs from cage-free hens. That’s interesting. Gathering eggs on my grandparents farm was my least favorite job. The hens pecked and it hurt.

I didn’t know WF allows you to test skin care products! Even Walgreen and Rite Aid don’t allow that anymore. Thanks for the contest!

  • Pauline M

I love this store! Though I don’t buy everything there (for us, it’s a little pricey) I always buy some premade pastas and meats, from the counter. Though the story on the link shows that they always have lots of lotion sampling (which they do), my favorite part of the store is the recipes they give me with the meat I buy. For someone who really struggles with the idea of cooking, they are a true lifesaver!

  • Amanda

We love Whole Foods! They let you test products before buying! All you have to do is ask!

We’ve got our fingers crossed! Thanks for the opprotunity

I was so excited to learn about all the gluten free and casein free foods you have. My son follows a gluten & casein free diet & the variety you have is incredible.

  • Lindsay

I like the Chipotle Chicken Salad recipe I found in the no cook section. Thank you!

  • Anna
