Window Crayons Giveaway from Down To Earth Toys

The dkSummer Fun Giveaway is winding down to a close, but summer is not! We still have two whole months of outdoor play, trips to the beach, vacations, rainy days with children whining, “But I’m so booooored!” Oops! We try to block that visual out, don’t we? Be prepared for those days with some Lyra Window Crayons ($11.49 retail) from Down to Earth Toys. With these, your kids can stay inside on not-so-nice days and draw their own sunshine on your living room windows! Don’t worry, it wipes right back off when they’re done.

This box of 10 crayons is actually pretty fun. I may be an adult, but I still love my crayons, and if there’s one thing I enjoy doing with my son, it’s getting down on the floor and coloring. With these, we’ve been able to sit in front of that big sliding glass door and have at it. I’m envisioning kids in the back seat of a car during a long ride to the Grand Canyon or Wally’s World (if you’re the Griswold’s, that is), and instead of asking, “Are we there yet?” they’re creating art on the back windows of the family vehicle. My son is too young for that experience, so we’ll stick to decorating the slider. It’s nice to have added a little color to the room!

If you’d like to win your own box of German-made Lyra Window Crayons–and yes you have to share with the kids–I have an extra box to give away. By this point in the dkSummer Fun Giveaway, you probably have the rules memorized. But if not, get out your crayons and write this on the window so you don’t forget:

3 Ways to Enter:

1.) Leave a comment after visiting the Down to Earth Toys site. Tell me which natural toys you are the most interested in, or you can tell me something you like about the site in general. (Winners are chosen at random, but if the first winner selected does not claim the prize, the second winner is chosen based on comment originality. So have fun with your comment!)

2.) Subscribers are automatically entered into this and all future giveaways. Just click here: Subscribe to dkMommy Spot by Email (Please make sure to verify your Feedburner subscription by responding to the email they send you. If you don’t receive it, check your junk mail. Only verified subscriptions are entered for all the giveaways.)

3.) Blog about this giveaway on your blog with a link back to this post.

Do all three, and you’ve got three entries to win! You have until midnight EST on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, to enter.
